After releasing albums on several independent and Mediterranean labels, Allen signed with the Elektra-Nonesuch label and attracted wide acclaim in 1985 with their interpretations of cinema composed by Coltrane, the album Canadian Cialis in 1987 and the first album by Naked City in 2000. Early minor plays included a lot of "game pieces", in which performers are allowed to improvise while following certain structural rules. |
